Statement from Jack Roush Regarding Carl Edwards’ Penalty

“We are satisfied that NASCAR fairly considered all the circumstances in its decision to discipline Carl (Edwards). We look forward to meeting with NASCAR, Roger (Penske) and Brad (Keselowski) in Bristol next weekend and it is our hope to put this behind us at that time. Missed in all of this was a really strong performance by Roush Fenway – and the Ford teams in general – at Atlanta last weekend and we are eager to continue to build on that moving forward.”

One Response to “Jack Roush Statement on Carl Edwards”
  1. I feel due to the past and during race facts that the 312 car driver is a unconcerned rookie that received his due. What he did to Carl on the last lap last year at Tallad. was uncalled for and I feel Carl wanted to long to tell him so. He cost Carl a top finish on Sunday by not letting up to allow Carl his rightful spot he had going into the corner early in this pasts Sunday’s race. Do I wish harmful accidents on other drivers and fans. Absolutely not, but #12 got what he deserved. And yes I am a Carl Edwards #99 fan. jmd
