David Reutimann won the Coors Light Pole Award for the FORD 400 with a lap of 31.462 seconds, 171.636 mph. This is his first pole in 63 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his first pole and fifth top-10 start in 2008. He became the 23rd driver to win poles in all three
national series. This is his first pole in two races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
