Texas Terry goes to HOF Terry Labonte was inducted into the Texas Motorsports Hall of Fame this week. Terry of course a native Texan is a two time Cup Series Champion in 1984 and 1996. This weekend he'll be driving the #44 Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports. April 14, 2005

Miami season finale to have lights Homestead-Miami Speedway has begun installing lights to their track and will be ready for the season-finale weekend in November. NBC has scheduled the Cup race to start at 4pm on that Sunday, so the race, and the championship will finish under the lights in prime-time. April 12, 2005

Rough Sunday for Gibbs teams Joe Gibbs Racing had a heartbreaking Sunday with Tony Stewart leading the most laps only to have his wheel fly off from a loose lug nut. Bobby Labonte ran his #18 Chevy up front until he lost a cylinder and finally his motor. Even worse for Bobby is he now sits 37th in points and needs to qualify to make the Texas race this weekend.
