Driver Review: Kurt Busch #10: Kurt Busch
We kick off our review of the Top 10 drivers of 2005, and at #10 from Las Vegas Nevada, driver of the #97 Sharpie, Industrial Tools Ford, and defending champion Kurt Busch. He was the topic of discussion for most of the season, from being the defending champion, to his announcement that he was leaving Roush Racing and heading to Penske....oh and that little bout with police in Phoenix that got him suspended for the last two races.
On the track he racked up 3 wins at Phoenix (the first one), Pocono, and Richmond. Kurt also had 9 top 5's, 18 top 10's, and 3 DNF's (did not finish)
He led 958 laps, and takes home $7.6 million in winnings for the season.
Kurt Busch is the 10th place driver for the 2005 season
