DEI inks long term deal with Eury Jr.
Dale Earnhardt Incorporated announced a long term deal to keep crew chief Tony Eury Jr. with the company. Tony is currently the chief for Michael Waltrip's 15 machine, but that could change since Michael is leaving the team after this season.

Cup regulars are again invading the Busch race tomorrow. Some of the big names include Kevin Harvick, Bobby Labonte, Kasey Kahne, Ryan Newman, Brian Vickers, Greg Biffle and others.

Who's hot going into this weekend? Tony Stewart who has 8 straight top 10 finished including 5 wins. Mark Martin has quietly picked up 4 top 10's in 5 races, and Brian Vickers has 5 straight top 15's.

Green's raise green, on the greens, for charity
Recenty the Green Brothers Golf Tournament sponsored by General Mills raised $55,000 for various charities. The event was hosted by drivers Jeff and Mark Green and included other NASCAR celebrities like Kyle Petty, Jason Keller, Randy LaJoie, Stacy Compton and Larry McReynolds.

"BP" inducted into MSRHFA
Television analyst Benny Parsons will be inducted into the Motorsports Racing Hall of Fame of America Thursday at the State Theatre in Detroit. Benny is the 1973 Cup Series champion and also has a Daytona 500 win on his resume.

Crocker to make Busch debut in fall
Erin Crocker will make her Busch Series debut this fall sometime. She's a sprint car driver who has become Ray Evernham's protege. In 5 ARCA series starts this year she has 4 top 10's, and the other was a 12th.

Aikman, Staubach finally go Cup racing in 2006
Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach (yes the former NFL QB's) have announced they will run a Cup car starting in 2006. They have inked a 3 year deal with Texas Instruments as the primary sponsor, however no driver or crew chief has been announced just yet.

Busch Series Penalties
Kyle Busch has been fined $10,000 and put on probation until December 31st. for hitting the #37 car driven by Anthony Lazzaro after the race was finished at Waktins Glen. Same goes for Tony Stewart driving the #33 car on Saturday, he banged up the 5 car of Brian Vickers. Same probation for Stewart, but only a $5000 fine.

Ganassi announces 2006 lineup, 4 cars including Jamie
On Friday, Chip Ganassi Racing announced their official 2006 driver lineup which includes an unhappy Jamie McMurray who walked out of the press conference, Casey Mears stays on board but will drive a different car, Reed Sorenson moves up to Cup in the #41, and so does David Stremme in the 40 car.
