Newman wrecks hard at Bristol test
While testing the #39 Busch car at Bristol this week, Ryan Newman hit the outside wall in turn 4, mangling the right side of his Dodge. Ryan got out of the car on his own, and is okay. Look for Newman in the Mobil 1 paint scheme at Pocono this weekend.

Edwards hopes for a Pocono sweep
Carl Edwards looks to complete the Pocono season sweep on Sunday. Carl actually credits his June win to practicing on his racing video games. More and more drivers are using that as a tool to help them on Sundays. He'll also attempt to do the double of Pocono and Pikes Peak.

There's a new Wimmer in the world. Scott and Jody welcomed Hayden Phillip Wimmer on Tuesday around 6pm. Mom and baby are fine, and Scott is on cloud 9.

J. Labonte gets Holly as new chief
Justin Labonte will have a new crew chief starting this weekend at Pike Peak. Harold Holly is coming back to the Busch Series after running things for Bobby Hamilton Jr.'s #32 Cup team. Holly won the Busch championship with Jeff Green in 2000.

TESTING | INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY | SPEEDS
On Monday Mike Skinner turned the fastest lap with a speed of 180.692mph

Tuesday it was Bobby Hamilton with a speed of 183.905 mph, and like father like son Bobby Jr. was second fastest at 182.576mph

Truex wins Busch race on Saturday
The Busch race on Saturday saw points leader Martin Truex Jr. hold off Carl Edwards to pick up his 5th win of 2005.

Denny Hamilin was 3rd followed by Elliott Sadler and Jamie McMurray.

Tony Stewart does it again, simply dominated this race leading 232 of 300 laps. He has now won 3 of the last 4 and he climbed the fence yet again. Tony grabs career win #22.


OTHER STORIES ON THE DAY

-Matt Kenseth spun future teammate Jamie McMurray early in the race, Matt admitted his mistake

-Mark Martin helped Elliott Sadler's 38 car find the fence, was 5th in points, now 9th.

-Jeff Gordon's 24 team was strong all day long, only to have brake problems with less than 15 laps to go. He ends up 25th

-Points leader Jimmie Johnson finished 13th and admits his team needs to work on the flat tracks on the circuit
