Who's hot going into this weekend? This being a road course race for the Busch Series, we've got several factors going into Sunday. We've got drivers that are Mexico natives like Adrian Fernandez and Jorge Goeters, We'll see road course ringers like Boris Said and Ron Fellows, and experienced Cup Series drivers like Kevin Harvick and Michael Waltrip...should be a very interesting race. Kenseth docked 25 driver points - Busch Matt Kenseth was docked 25 Busch Series points for an unapproved jacking bolt on his car, Crew Chief Chad Norris was also fined $10,000. Todd Bodine's Busch Crew Chief was also fined $2500 for an incorrect rear end gear ratio at California. March 1, 2006
48 gets huge Daytona exposure According to a company that actually tracks this stuff, Jimmie Johnson's win at the Daytona 500 got his sponsor Lowes exposure worth about $19.88 million for the broadcast. They were featured for about 27min 30 seconds on camera, plus voice mentions. They base this on what it would cost for a regular commercial during the broadcast. March 1, 2006

Todd Kluever will run 6 Cup races in 6th Roush car 3M TO SPONSOR TODD KLUEVER IN SIX NEXTEL CUP RACES IN 2006
CONCORD, N.C. -- 3M Company and Roush Racing announced today that 3M will be the primary sponsor for the No. 06 Ford Fusion entry driven by Todd Kluever in six NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races this season. Kluever's NEXTEL Cup races this year are intended to prepare him for the 2007 NEXTEL Cup season, when he will drive the No. 6 AAA Ford Fusion currently driven by Mark Martin. Kluever's six-race schedule will consist of Chicagoland Speedway, July 9; Michigan International Speedway, August 20; California Speedway, September 3; Kansas Speedway, October 1; Lowe's Motor Speedway, October 14 and Phoenix International Raceway, November 12. "I am pleased to be able to represent 3M in the NEXTEL Cup Series as well as the Busch Series this year," Kluever said. "I'm really looking forward to running those extra races to get ready for next year. We are going to be racing at tracks that I really like, and I'm especially excited to kick off my NEXTEL Cup debut at Chicagoland since that is so close to home for me -- and it will be my Mom's birthday."
