McSwain plays NASCAR home version, again Ricky Rudd's crew chief Michael McSwain will again run team operations from his home in North Carolina due to his back surgery recovery. McSwain did this for the California race with the help of technology from nascar.com, Racing Radios, and Nextel. March 10, 2005
Kenseth looks for three straight Matt Kenseth is way back 36th in points right now, but with back to back wins in Las Vegas this may be the week that he bounces back into the thick of things. Teams test all over this week TESTING
Sterling Marlin took his #40 Dodge around Bristol Motor Speedway this week with snow flurries falling, no times were posted. At Kentucky this week Gibbs teammates Tony Stewart and Jason Leffler ran tests on the #11 and 20 cars. And Ryan Newman was again fastest in day two of testing Atlanta with even more drivers on hand like Kevin Harvick, Jeff Green, Bill Elliott, Jeremy Mayfield, Bobby Labonte and others. March 9, 2005
Cup drivers invade Vegas Busch race 16 Drivers will attempt to drive the double this weekend in Las Vegas, including Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Jamie McMurray, Sterling Marlin, Elliott Sadler, Greg Biffle and more. 52 teams will try for 43 spots. March 8, 2005
Drivers play poker for charity Tomorrow in Las Vegas some of the sports biggest names will be on hand at the Golden Nugget for the Mobil High Endurance Charity Poker Challenge. Included at the table are Rusty Wallace, Ryan Newman, Travis Kvapil, Kenny Wallace, Jason Leffler and Richard Childress. Mobil will award the winner $50,000 to the charity of their choice.

Mexico Poll-Sitter to drive up here? It looks like the poll-sitter and leader of 24 laps in Sunday's Busch race Jorge Goeters could race a few north of the boarder. After his impressive showing in Mexico, Brewco Motorsports might put him the car for Phoenix, Texas, or Homestead-Miami.

-Mexican driver and poll sitter Jorge Goeters led the first 24 laps, but made 2 mistakes on pit road, and ultimately blew a motor.
-Robby Gordon had engine problems all day long, NASCAR is also investigating an apparent fight between Robby and Carl Edwards crew chief Brad Parrott before the race.
-On the 4th caution, J.J. Yeley replaced David Stremme in the #14 Navy car due to an illness.
-Stanton Barrett running top 5 with less than 10 laps to go ran off the track and finishes 19th
